Unfair business practices and bureaucracy in Canada
Miguel The Trusfinder, a 3rd Millennium muckraker, opens this column for those of you who would wish to fight unfair business practices and bureaucracy in Canada. We are sharing our experiences in fighting unfair business practices, bureaucracy, whatnot. We’ll be exposing those who suck blood of newly-arrived immigrants and well-established Canadians, as well, those who don’t care about us. Here you will read abut evil landlords, disgusting neighbours, unfair repair shops, cruel car dealers, ignorant bureaucrats, and much more. So, let’s give it a good ‘go’ with a full ‘ahead’ and consider everything going around that fills into category of “dishonest” and “unfair”. Miguel represents a new generation of muckrakers and he welcomes you, reader, at the website of Michael Arbetov, which helps people avoid unreasonable financial losses in Canada. I hope, all of you are aware of what muckrakers are, yet those who are not, just search the web to grasp the idea: muckrakers did really help to improve North America, its political and bureaucratic system. And, if you encounter unfair business practices or bureaucratic hassles without any hesitation please write to us at migrigo @ arbetov.com. We do know how to screw the bastards!
Vancouver – The British Columbia Securities Commission has reached a settlement with a B.C. woman who admitted to defrauding investors by getting them to invest $765,000 (U.S.) in a non-existent company. Dianne Oslund is banned from trading securities, cannot be a director or officer of any issuer, and cannot engage in any investor relations activities for 15 years. She admitted to making misrepresentations, defrauding investors, unregistered trading and illegally selling securities without a prospectus.
What would you feel after you’ve got a thousand dollar bill just for one month: mere Internet connection? As for me, I could neither laugh nor cry… I remained petrified like a marble sculpture of some legendary Revolutionary hero in the well-known Moscow subway.
This story may illustrate how the apartment management and landlords abuse tenants, mainly immigrants who can hardly stand for their rights. Hopefully, I don’t belong to this category.
